Confidential STD Testing
Sexually transmitted diseases (also known as STDs or STIs) are generally acquired by sexual contact via blood, semen, or vaginal and other bodily fluids.
STDs do not always cause the person to have symptoms. If you are sexually active, it is crucial to get tested. Sometimes, STDs may mimic other diseases or illnesses. Patients should be tested yearly or more frequently.
Community Quick Care offers confidential STD testing including:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhea
- HIV
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
- Syphilis
- HPV
- Genital Herpes
These STDs can be tested by urine, swab, or blood. They can also be tested in conjunction with a pap smear for women. Privacy is guaranteed, and test results are typically available in 2-3 days.
If left untreated, STDs can cause serious health risks including infertility, organ damage, pelvic inflammatory disease, and if left untreated long enough, death.
Common symptoms include:
- Painful and/or frequent urination
- Discharge from the vagina or penis
- Painful ejaculation
- Rash
- Bumps
- Itching
- Rectal discharge, pain, and/or bleeding
- Testicular pain
- Pain during sexual intercourse
- Abdominal/pelvic pain
