Dr. Brandon D. Hardin
SUPERVISING PHYSICIAN
Dr. Brandon D. Hardin, born and raised in Antioch, Tn, is excited to join our practice. He, his wife, who is also a family medicine physician, and his kids live in the Blackman area and are excited to be part of one of the fastest growing communities in the middle TN area. Dr. Hardin looks forward to serving and empathizing with you through all physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual afflictions.
Alexa Wix
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Alexa Wix, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to
providing compassionate, patient-centered care across family medicine,
urgent care, and aesthetic medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science
in Biology with a concentration in Health Science from Tennessee
Technological University in 2022. She completed her Master of Science in
Physician Assistant Studies at Bethel University in 2026.
Alexa’s professional training spans family medicine, urgent and
emergency care, women’s health, dermatology, and plastic surgery. Her
background in dermatology, along with advanced clinical training in
dermatology and aesthetics, has shaped a special interest in the
evaluation and treatment of dermatologic concerns. She also has a
passion for procedural medicine, particularly laceration repairs and
other in-office procedures.
In addition to family and urgent care, Alexa provides aesthetic
services, including injectable treatments. Her training in dermatology
and plastic surgery allows her to bring a strong understanding of skin
health, facial anatomy, and patient-centered treatment planning to
aesthetic medicine. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and
confident while creating individualized treatment plans based on their
goals.
Alexa is committed to continuing to expand her knowledge and clinical
skills while providing evidence-based, individualized care. She values
building meaningful relationships with her patients and strives to
create an environment where they feel heard, comfortable, and supported.
Kim Prichard
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Kim graduated from Valparaiso University with her BSN in Nursing. She also graduated from TSU with her MSN, and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys gardening, her 3 terriers, antiques and spending time with family.
John Wright
Wound Care Specialist | Family Nurse Practitioner
John Wright, Sr., MSN, APRN, FNP-C, WCC-BC is a seasoned healthcare leader, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and wound-care professional with more than 30 years of clinical and leadership experience. His expertise spans primary care, complex wound management, clinical operations, nursing administration, utilization and care coordination, and quality improvement.
Throughout his career, John has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes, strengthening clinical processes, and developing high-performing healthcare teams. His accomplishments include advancing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, enhancing medication safety and infection prevention, supporting staff education, and implementing strategies designed to reduce hospital admissions and readmissions. A Wound Care Certified professional since 2004, he brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
John and his wife have 3 adult children and enjoys spending time with family/friends, traveling, fishing, hunting, construction, and automotive mechanics. John is veteran of the U.S. Army with 10 years of service.
John Wright, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, WCC
Wound Care Specialist in La Vergne, Tennessee
John Wright is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in wound care, nursing leadership, and patient education. He brings extensive experience helping patients with complex wounds across hospital, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient care settings.
John begins seeing wound care patients at Community Quick Care every Wednesday starting October 14, 2026.
Experienced, Personalized Wound Care
John’s approach begins with a thorough assessment and a treatment plan tailored to each patient’s needs. He evaluates wound healing, monitors progress, and adjusts care as needed. He also helps patients and caregivers understand their treatment and the steps they can take to support healing.
His experience includes wound assessment, diagnosing difficult wound and skin conditions, treatment planning, infection prevention, and coordination with other healthcare professionals. He values clear communication and involves patients and families in care decisions.
A Career Dedicated to Patient Care
John has worked as a wound care nurse practitioner with Progressive Care Medical Group and as a wound care specialist with Vanderbilt University Medical Center Home Care Services and a Quality Improvement Wound Care Specialist for the Tennessee Quality Improvement Organization under the direction of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). His background also includes wound care consulting at Rolling Hills Hospital and leadership roles at Select Specialty Hospital and the Tennessee State Veterans Home.
His healthcare career began with medical training in the U.S. Army, including service as a combat medic. That foundation developed into a longstanding commitment empathy, respect for human dignity, leadership, lifelong learning, and quality care.

Cindy Larkin
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Cindy Larkin is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of nursing experience. She spent 12 years working in emergency care before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, a role she has held for the past 18 years. Her extensive clinical background allows her to provide knowledgeable, compassionate care for patients with a wide range of healthcare needs.
Cindy is committed to helping patients understand their health and providing individualized care focused on their needs. She values building relationships with her patients and helping them make informed decisions about their health and wellness.
Cindy has called Murfreesboro home for the past six years. She is married and has five daughters, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys traveling, spending time with her children and grandchildren, sewing, and gardening.

Jose Cruz
FNP-BC | Family Nurse Practitioner
Jose Carlos Cruz, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, and critical care. He brings a strong clinical background in evaluating and treating illnesses and injuries, performing diagnostic testing, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping patients manage their overall health and wellness.
Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jose spent several years caring for patients in emergency departments, cardiac and interventional settings, and medical-surgical care. His experience includes treating patients with both routine and complex medical needs and coordinating care when patients require a higher level of treatment.
Jose earned his Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Austin Peay State University and is board certified by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).
Jose is also bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing him to communicate directly with Spanish-speaking patients and families and help make their healthcare experience more comfortable and accessible.
At Community Quick Care, Jose provides compassionate, patient-centered care with an emphasis on accurate assessment, prevention, treatment, and helping patients take an active role in their health.

Christena Mossad
PA-C | PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Christena Mossad, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant with a
“clinical background in primary care, mental health, and internal medicine”
. Her training includes experience across a broad range of medical specialties, including family medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, dermatology, and general surgery.
Christena brings a distinctive combination of medical and behavioral health training to Community Quick Care. In addition to earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Middle Tennessee State University, she holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Before completing her Physician Assistant training, Christena worked as a mental health therapist, conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy. This experience strengthens her ability to approach patient care with an understanding of both physical and behavioral health needs.
At Community Quick Care, Christena provides compassionate, patient-centered care with an emphasis on prevention, chronic condition management, and behavioral health. Her combined medical and mental health background allows her to consider both physical and emotional health when evaluating and treating patients, including those seeking care for concerns such as anxiety and depression.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and began my career as a registered nurse caring for patients in the hospital setting. After becoming a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), I worked in the Coronary Care Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Hospital, now Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown.
My experience in critical care inspired me to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. After caring for critically ill patients, I wanted the opportunity to help people earlier—by promoting healthy lifestyle changes, providing preventive care, managing chronic conditions, and helping patients improve their overall health and quality of life.
I am thrilled to be part of the team at Community Quick Care. One of the things I value most about family medicine is the opportunity to care for people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. I believe in listening to my patients, treating each person with respect and compassion, and working together toward better health.
Outside of work, I am happily married and have four adult children and eleven grandchildren. I enjoy running—although slowly—reading, and, most of all, spending time and playing with my grandchildren.
Jessica Gibson
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Jessica Gibson, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in 2014. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in 2025.
Her professional background includes more than 10 years of serving veterans in healthcare, as well as in community care, administration, specialty clinics, and acute care. These diverse experiences have shaped Jessica’s holistic approach to practice, emphasizing compassionate, evidence-based, and collaborative care for patients across the lifespan.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Jessica is certified in administration of Botulinum Toxin, Dermal fillers, and microneedling. These advanced certifications allow her to provide both medical and aesthetic services, blending wellness and aesthetics to help patients look and feel their best.
Committed to lifelong learning, Jessica continually expands her knowledge and skills to meet the evolving needs of her patients and the community she serves.

Wenona is an experienced certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 yrs experience in health care, over 12 of which was as an Intensive care RN. She believes health care is a partnership between the patient and the provider, and she helps each patient achieve their optimal health through honest, respectful communication.

Teresa Tarkington

Teresa Tarkington is married to her husband of 26 years and they have one daughter. She has worked in the medical field focusing on the business side of medicine and education since 1987. She spent 23 years in the internal medicine and pain management fields working in the areas of billing and coding, credentialing, and practice management. June 2011 led Teresa to begin a new opportunity of teaching Medical Billing and Coding at a local career college where she spent the next 12 years in teaching, student services and administration. June 2023 led Teresa to a new journey in her life and to decide what she wanted to do next. Her love for the medical field and working in the medical office led her to join the billing team at Community Quick Care of LaVergne, P.C. Here at CQC, she focuses on credentialing, educating providers, nurses, and staff, community events, and her love of billing. She always says that the medical billing and coding field is like playing the game of CLUE….you get to be the Detective, like Colonel Mustard!

Marion Eledge, RN BSN

Marion began her nursing career in 1988 after graduating from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, on an academic scholarship from the Alabama Board of Nursing. She worked as a Critical Care RN in Acute Coronary Care (DCH Regional Medical Center) and Surgical Intensive Care (BMC Princeton).
While living in Monarch Beach, CA, she was a case manager and hospice nurse for VNAOC. During Gulf War I, Marion cared for several former Marines, some of them USMC Colonels, who specifically requested her for their medical care.
After moving to Nashville, Marion began a career in administration, as Director of Professional Services, with Willowbrook Home Health Care. Here she helped guide the staff to full Joint Commission Accreditation with Commendation.
Marion has been with CQC for two years as Marketing Director, after being a stay-at-home mom for 28 years. She is fluent in German, as both her parents are 100% German. Marion enjoys cooking (especially German meals), traveling, and visiting her amazing four sons.
